1. Scope and service
These terms govern Beans Club. The provider and contracting party for the digital services is PRIESSNITZ Unternehmensberatung KG. The app provides coffee inventories, brew logs, catalogue search, community features, shared inventories, news and the Beanie AI assistant. Binding commitments are limited to the service displayed in the app at the relevant time.
Taste, shelf-life, grind and brew suggestions are estimates. Results depend on coffee, water, grinder, machine, storage and operation.
2. Account, security and age
Cloud and community features require an account. Credentials must be protected and unauthorized use reported promptly. Information must not be misleading, and usernames must not infringe third-party rights.
Social features are available from age 14. Where parental consent is legally required, it must be obtained before use.
3. User content and licence
Users remain responsible for uploaded or published content and must hold the necessary rights. Posting content grants Beans Club a non-exclusive, worldwide, generally revocable licence required to store, technically process, compress, moderate and display that content within the service.
The licence ends when content is deleted, except where retention is needed for backups, legal claims, moderation records or statutory duties.
4. Prohibited use and moderation
Prohibited conduct includes illegal content, threats, hate, severe abuse, sexual or glorified violent content, doxxing, spam, fraud, rights violations, rating manipulation, automated scraping, attacks, DDoS, bypassing safeguards and abusive multiple accounts.
Content may be automatically filtered, flagged, hidden or removed, and accounts may be restricted temporarily or permanently. Users can report content and block users. Where legally and operationally possible, we provide reasons and an appeal route.
5. Subscriptions and chat credit
The purchase and service contract for Premium, Legend and extra Beanie chat credit is concluded with PRIESSNITZ Unternehmensberatung KG. Purchases, billing, subscription management and refunds are processed through the App Store under the terms shown there. Subscriptions renew automatically under the applicable App Store terms until cancelled in Apple ID settings. Prices, taxes and trials are shown in the purchase dialog.
Purchased chat credit is separate, permanent consumable credit and does not expire. It is granted only after server-side verification of the Apple transaction. Promotional credit may expire if clearly disclosed before it is granted. Use “Restore Purchases” to re-check transactions.
6. Beanie
Beanie is an AI assistant and may generate incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable responses. Users must verify results independently. Beanie must not be used unlawfully or to process sensitive third-party data.
7. Availability, changes and termination
Maintenance, security measures, external services or force majeure may limit availability. Features may change or end for legitimate reasons while paid commitments and mandatory consumer rights remain respected.
Users may delete their account in the app using two confirmations. Beans Club may restrict or terminate content or accounts for serious or repeated breaches, security risks or legal obligations.
8. Liability and governing law
Statutory liability rules apply. Limitations do not apply to intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability or express guarantees. For slight negligence, liability may be limited to foreseeable contractual loss where lawful.
Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory protections and jurisdictions at a consumer's habitual residence remain unaffected.
